    • Plan to purchase insurance themselves (3%)

    • No insurance/didn't think it was affordable (73%)
    • No dentist who would take a payment plan (3%)
    • Did not think it was necessary to see a dentist (7%)
    • Afraid of seeing dentist/receiving dental care (5%)
    • No dentist available in patient's area/Didn't know who to call (5%)
    • No dentist available to take patient's insurance (4%)
    • Did not have time previously to see a dentist (3%)
